I''m seriously starting to wonder what's going on with the Dev team for DE? All i see in any of the posts is "Oh we got great PLANS!!! We will be implementing these SOON! We'll let you know next month when they'll be on test...."

What the heck is the garbage they spewed out in the Proposed Plan totally vague and most of it is worthless

i wouldn't have gotten master artisan and DE if i knew couldn't make what I THOUGH were going to be kewl droids. But no once i get into my profesion i find that most of my droids are

A. Buggy

B. Give no exp when crafted

C. Can't be crafted because of resources requirments

or D. Don't do anything at all like the protocol droid

Someone need to take the Dev team out of the Spiked Punch Bowl and lead them over to the coffee pot so they can get back to work and stop partying.

IF i wanted to be a CH i wouldn't have spent 77pts for master artisan then 36pts for DE 3004 and stoped because i can only make an Adv Probot that barely holds it's own against a difficulty16 pet or i could have spent 49pts to get to Novice CH.

The only thing i sell regularly are BH droids and that's because i've run all over Naboo telling every BH i see that i got the cheapest BH droids on the planet. AND I still only sell like 3 a day for pocket change. I'm lucky i got a Harvester business or i probably couldn't even take the shuttle out of Keren.

What's going on with the Dev? Apparently we don't have one. As another person pointed out in the main thread, this is not a Development Plan. It is truth a copy of early brainstorming. In all likelyhood, Goranths thread was likely brought to a meeting, passed around, and asked "Pick a few of these things that might be doable and give them to me, so it can be posted as a Pacifier until we have a Development Meeting on DE".

The secret of grinding isn't building Droids, they don't give Xps on the final assemble. It's the parts that go into them. The best option is following Blueprints until aquiring Advanced Frames, and then making a couple million of those at ~450xps apiece until your wrist is permanently damaged.

There aren't really any Droids that are worth building that are Resource Gated. The Resource gated droids, Protocols and BLL, don't actually have any functions not found in the R series which isn't gated. The upper tier components are gated, Med 6, Item 6, Armor 4 and greater. Data 6 is also gated, but is essentially worthless so I wouldn't stress about that one.

Technically the only 2 droids that are trully needed to be crafted are the MSE's and the Probots. Unfortunately no other droid performs a function that cannot be achieved with those two droids. Fortunately, DEs are mostly unanimous in not selling loaded MSEs. Overall, you'll find the only Droid Market is for Protocols, R2's, Surgicals, and Probots. In truth, if Players realized that Surgicals don't do anything that the others can't do, they probably wouldn't want those either. Protocols are generally more of a Novelty item really, as a knowledgable customer will ask for a Nested Probot or an R2 rather than the Protocol that costs significantly more.

The final secret to DE at this point, is to run off a bunch of crates of batteries. At 2500 for a crate of 25, you can make your harvester money every day. And I'm talking Medium-Heavy harvester money. It's ugly, but the truth is that there isn't a market for Non-Master Droids as the difference between them is night & day, unless you're into stacking which also presents the problem that one day the Devsmay fix stacking and all of the people you've sold to will find themselves in possesion of low-quality droids, which could leave you with a tarnished reputation.

Therearentan you missed the sarcasm there. Not to sound rude but i am well aware of the way to grind exp in DE and have probably managed to do it quicker than most i stopped when i saw that there was no point in progressing any farther. I run 3 tools in sequence with no macro's and make about 20k de crafting exp an hour and ya my wrist bother's me for about 12hrs afterwards but i got production0 to 3 in about 14hrs by doing that. Had to stop and go get more resources cause i ran out of steel otherwise it would have been faster

The point i'm at i just farm out any stations/modules i can't make to one of my compatriot DE's and get on with my fun. I know that sounds cold but i got tired of DE and some of my friends are still enjoying the profession so i've been trying to keep them busy so they don't get tired of it and quit the game like half the DE's on my server have done.
