Thread: If you can Bio-engineer a pet why not a droid?

Just a thinking out loud.

If every other artisan profession, except architech, can use bio engineered components why can we. The armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, and tailors are all making crazy stat items that are selling for outrageous prices. Even pets can be bio-engineered.

I saw a guy selling a Dalydrike Harvester for 10K yesterday, a non CH pet, with 2700 HAM, and 65% resists. Anyone could use this thing, provided it was pre-trained. This blows away any probot I can make. I know the next patch is supposed to fix this, however the stink being made by the CH's might make them reconsider.

All I'm saying is that it would be nice to use special components in my armor segements to get a higher attack speed, higher resist, more damage, more HAM, Whatever. The problem as i see with this profession is that there is no difference between one DE and the next. On Eclipse we have several competing weapons guys, armor gals, tailors, CH's. The DE's all make the same droids. Wouldn't it be nice to a true artisan and let the quality of your work drive the demand for your products.

I think your forgeting droid experimetation and resource stats don't even do anything yet.
