Hello Droid GURU's,

quick question, how are droid (black line) wounds cured? also are faction pets with wounds curable?

Health and Action wounds on droids can be repaired by any player who has a droid with a repair module installed in it. In the last few days, I've noticed that this also seems to take care of white bar damage as well as black bar.

Mind wounds and damage are healed either with a power droid, or with droid batteries.

Wounds on the first two ham bars are fixed by another droid with a repair module installed in it. Wounds on the blue bar are fixed by a power droid or by using batteries.

I'm not sure about faction pets.

Does this also apply to my Faction Pets?

There aren't any faction pets that are droids, so I would say no.

I have an AT ST with wounds, can repair droids fix this? if not what does?

Power droids used to repair the Mind wounds of ATSTs. Not any more I believe.

Can I get a confirmation on this? Are repair modules fixing white bar damage now to Health and Action? That would be a great fix if it's true!

This is not confirmation, (I'm the same guy) but it IS a further explanation of what I've seen. I'm still trying to figure out if it's really true or not myself :-)

The first incident was some time last week. I was returning to town from a harvester run on Talus, when a fellow with a probot asked if I could repair it. I was happy to do so, as I rarely get requests for what I think is REALLY MY JOB!

So I pulled out my faithful WED Treadwell repair/crafting droid and issued the repair command... He seemed to have forgotten it, so I trained it again, and told him to repair.

The droid I was repairing had minimal blackbar damage, hardly even noticeable at 1280x1024 resolution, but when I was done, I didn't see any white.

I thought that was unusual, but because the numbers we are speaking of seemed to be in the single digit range anyway, I put it behind me.

Then this weekend, a customer asked if I could repair his probot. This machine had some fairly serious wounds, maybe 15-20% black-barred down the line, as well as having white-bar damage from a recent battle. When I repaired it, it was like a brand new droid, no damage, no wounds.

The "heals white" part was fixed for everything a while back. I.e Doctor buffs => increases MAX and current, doctor wound healing => heals wounds and damage, droid repair => heals wounds and damage. I like it as a master doctor. :-)

Thanks, Rho. I can report similar experiences. After you repair a droid's wounds on a droid with black and no white bars, the black bar disappears and it is not replaced by a white bar that needs to be regened -- wounds are healed and the droid is back to full Health and Action.

However, with the help of another DE I ran a test to see if the repair module repairs damage on a droid (the white bar) when the droid's Health/Action was damaged to below 50%. We found that it did not. However, this test was done several weeks ago and there might have been a stealth change.

Can anyone else shed light here?
