Why not? droidekas were in the tf but who cares. Also atst. To make this you would need UBER resources, and ALL MASTER CRAFTING CLASSES (TAILOR WEAPSMITH ARMORSMITH) DE does final assembly from these exspensive composnents. why not? it would give DE's the edge

I agree we need combat droids, certainly more options than the probot. But the AT-ST isn't a droid, it's a vehicle. Besides it is a faction perk for Imperials, we have no need to make them.

Repair ATSTs, build and use droidekas!

Droidekas and drones man, GOTTA have em. They look so cool out there on LOK (though as a player pulled droid those are just touch too strong) but those and drones at about 1/2 to 2/3 strength of a droideka. sweet.

If you are saying that DE's should be able to make droids that can repair ATSTs (or other vechicles) then yes I agree. I don't think DE's however should be able to repair them themselves.

hum, this is an interesting subject, i was thinking... imperials have their AT-STs and stormtroopers, Rebels can make specialized R units and such, what about an additional faction, like the trade federation giving DEs and other crafters unique and rare schematcis, such as a master droid engineer having to belong to the trade federation faction to be allowed to make Droidekas, or even the military combat droids and such found in episode 1 or 2. there are TONS of other factions out there in the galaxy, the GCW is only 10% of the factions possible, the DEVS could make rebel and imperial faction unique, and the other factions such as jabba, trade federation and the other major faction side factions, that do not interfere with a persons GCW faction thus allowing both side of the war to benefit from having alliances and ties to other factions. Maybe a master engineer or architect would need to be factioned with the trade federation to build space ships? perhaps armorsmiths would need faction with trade federation to build powered armor suits, like the Mandalorian armor? the possabilities are nearly limitless in the starwars galaxaies. another thought, bio-engineers getting unique schematics allowing them to clone people out in the field thus making a transportable cloning facility (granted this has balance issues) though you get my point (i hope). by giving more factions possibilities then just the GCW factions could greatly increase character developement and advancement. My brain is going crazy thinking about all the possibilities you could do with faction requirements for schematics. anyway, didn't mean this to be so long. i hope folks are reading
