AP News-
Dateline Northern Kentucky-
Long time droid engineer Fu'Bar of the Intrepid server announced his temporary retirement today to a crowd of bewildered onlookers. "Once they actually fix the profession and bring in some droids we can use, I'll be back" Fu said to the slack jawed attendees to his farewell speech.
"It's not like I didn't give you all some hints", he muttered leaving the podium.
"He'll be back, just you watch" said Intrepid Bounty Hunter Raj Narjahn, "he keeps sayin he's gonna quit if the profession doesn't turn around, so I think he'll be back once they institute so real combat droids, and maybe make other droids useful."
Industry pundits speculate that Fu'Bar will return to droid engineering once combat droids higher that CL10, droid experimentation, and droid functionality are known entities in the universe.
After the press conference, Fu'Bar granted us an exclusive interview where he confided that he had numerous orders to fill, after which he planned on dropping the profession entirely, hoping to pursue a career in the chef line of work.

Yet another Droid Engineer that didn't get to play checkersand takes a bullet playingRussian Roulette instead.
Good luck in your Chef career. I don't blame you one bit for giving up on the class, especially after the latest series of dev posts.
P.S. I love the way you put your resignation letter into an article form. Quite better than the typical rant saying "I Quit".

And another one falls by the wayside... ![]()
To all you one star monkies out there for these "I surrender" posts - there is a point to them. Those of us who have been going on DE since release or longer have been living on hope in this game. I remember when the first round of people left - this is the second exodus.

A classy way to go out. May the road ahead be better than the road you travelled.
