Thread: Le Repair Droids and How to use them?

I started DE recently(and not for a holo) and i only have 2 skills left to learn but about the Le Repair Droid, what does it do, i thought you could repair things with it and if you can how? i cant seem to figure it out

No they cant do **edit**.....no droid can do **edit**....cept for act as crafting machines and medic hospitals. When i was DE i really saw no use for a binary load lifter or something like taht.....but that off subject...i think the only "repair" droid there is, is the power droid......but i never made one before...jsut guessing

The LE-Repair droid is very broken right now. LE-Repair is just the style of the droid, it would not repair unless you put the repair module into it first. Well, if the repair module actually worked in the LE-Repair droid that is.


Bottom line is that this style of droid won't take the repair module for some reason. Same goes for the power droid.


Along that line, Surgical Droids won't take an item storage module either. You can put these modules into the droid, but the finished product doesn't recognize that you installed the module.

The SOE statement on the LE Repair Droid:


"Allowing a droid with the name Repair in it to actually repair other droids is unballancing. We have spent considerable time ballancing the professions abilities, and this includes the documentation to understand those professions. Allowing something that is somewhat self-documenting is like giving you 25 extra checkers for free.

i find myself doing searches for Sketh now just to have a good laugh

My R2 unit has a repair module and it repairs droids. I do it all the time for people sometimes I don't even ask, hehe.
