Hey all,

Sorry if this is information everyone has, but I am having a helluva time getting any of it.

I've seen the r2-5 droid schematics on recruiters and I am wondering what kind of droids come from them (and why the r5 is the most expensive). Before I plunk down the 8k in faction (well less since I'm master smug), I want to know what I'll be getting.

If anyone can post the stats or a URL to a resource with the info, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

If I'm not mistaken, the stats on the faction bought droids are the same stats as the pre-droid publish stats were.

As for the R5 being the most expensive, it is the newest model of the R series, even though it has the least amount of functionablity. The R4 and R5 units were crated as a cheap alternative to the R2 series. After the success of the R2 series, the R3 series would created. The problem with the R3 series was that it was so advanced, it was priced higher than your standard droid owner was willing to pay. The R4 series was created to try and recoup the costs that were associated with the R3 series, however its sales were considered brisk at best, when compared to the R2 series. In a last ditch effort, the R5 series was designed to target the low end market. The problem with the R5 series was that it was too cheaply.

Funny thing is, the R2 and R3 series have been in production for so long that they can now be found throughout the universe, unlike the R4 and R5 series, which is relatively new and not seen as often.

Or so this is how it was explained months ago when the Faction cost question came up last.....

If anyone can post the stats or a URL to a resource with the info, it would be much appreciated.
