So I'm on Yavin4 attacking some impossible creature and figure i'll have my probot tank it. So I'm shooting and he starts getting wasted. He's about to die so I figure I better run or I'll get chased.

Anyway, I'm back at the outpost and click on him in my datapad and see an option . . .

USE VITALITY PACK

I clicked on it a couple times. Then I tried to store my bot, and at first it gave the message 'Prose can't be stored yet' so I waited. Used the option a few more times and then chose store.

And then I was able to recall it. I've never heard anyone mentioning this before...so if its old news to you sorry..but new to me

Its news to me I havent used by new probot to much lately last one I used died and was taking from the data pad. I did not know that they had made vitality packs for driods yet, I know there is talks about it. Are you on the Test Center? If they have implemented vitality paks for driods will somone explain how they work and were I can get them? I know I cant make them, even though I'm a DE lol.

So far only a Bio-Engineer can make Vitality packs.

Does that mean that I can buy them for my probot, and does that also mean that the evil plague permadeath is over? Can you use vitality packs in battle, and lastly what kind of healing do they do or do they just revive the driod?

There seem to be some bugs where permadeath doesn't work. If one of these ever happens to you, your droid loses vitality just like a creature, complete with the stat reduction. There are no droid vitality packs to repair vitality with, but it looks like the code is in place for that kind of system.

The moral of the story is that you were blessed that your probot survived. The cost is that you now have unrepairable vitality damage.
