Thread: Few tips: grinding in DE profession (Please disregard the other post and check this one)
Hi fellows !
I made few statistics if you are interested. These concern you only when you have blueprints 2 and you decided to get everything else by grinding frames. So for example, to get a first skill (box) you need 48000xp which corresponds to building 110 frames and to build 110 frames you need 16500 steel and 7700 fiber.
Each frame = 440 xp
Total xp needed to become a master DE = 1.228.800 xp
Total resources needed to become a master DE (assuming you already have blueprints 2) : 380.550 steel and 177.590 fiberplast
Skill LVL - Xp --- Frames to build --- steel --- fiberp
LVL1 ------48.000--------110---------------16.500-----7.700
LVL2-------67.200--------153----------------22.950----10.710
LVL3--------86.400-------197----------------29.550---13.790
LVL4--------105.600------240---------------36.000----16.800
Now you are probably a bit depressed but remember there is lot to do in the game when grinding becomes boring ![]()
Good luck guys !

Are these exp points for practicing, or actually creating the frames?
Because if they are for crafting, then don't look down guys, just practice and it will take a good number of frames that you'll have to build in the long run.
These stats are based on created frames, I dont use the practice mode. I didnt know there was a difference between the two...I thought the practice mode gave the same xp that creating frames ?
Would be nice if someone could clarify this...

And technically this is not a "tip" but is really just math.
Thanks for your precisions...then here you go for the practice mode:
Each frame = 462 xp
Total resources needed to become a master DE (assuming you already have blueprints 2) : 362.700 steel and 169.260 fiberplast
Total frames you need to build (assuming you already have blueprints 2): 2418
Skill LVL - Xp --- Frames to build --- steel --- fiberp
LVL1 ------48.000--------104---------------15.600-----7.280
LVL2-------67.200--------146----------------21.900----10.220
LVL3--------86.400-------188----------------28.200---13.160
LVL4--------105.600------229---------------34.350----16.030
Hope it helps..
If you're a Droid Engineer on Bloodfin and want something better to do than grind on Advanced Droid Frames for XPs, e-mail me. I take on apprenctices.
My appentices build driod sub-components for me (the ones that they can) and get paid 2.5cr per unit of resources required to make it (more for items that require factory building). They also get all training (even Master) for free.
In exchange, I sell Master-level droid modules to them at very reasonable prices that they can put into their own droids.
Make money, get XPs, and build cool stuff while you work your way up. It's not a bad deal.

I really like the idea of apprentices, if you can find them that is.
I can't say I would ever charge anyone for training though. I get apprentice points and that's plenty. I may or may not ever use them, but they're there if I ever need them.
