Hey all,

well it seems we answered all questions asked by the devs. we gave all our ideas out.

What now? blackout! even our correspondant, Sintrosi doesnt get answered...

Ok i know many things have to be fixed and we are perhaps not the priority. that i CAN understand. what i DO NOT understand is why we cant get any info on :

- what is planned to fix our profession

- when this will be put online

as customers, we deserve a decent answer. I think we have to make ourself heard. that s why i will add the following signature to my posts. i will also say it in chat (the objective is not to spam it, but to get heard).

Up to you guys, but that s what i wil do. i think we could be heard if many of us did the same. (of course, the message and signature would have to be defined). For now i ll do it on my own.

DEVS, FIX THE DE PROFESSION!

how can such an essential profession in the Star Wars universe, thelongest one to raise, deserve such a poor treatment?

We cant for the most part. Weve al been posting many times asking for things to be fixed. Our correspondent got a email earlier but is not sure what it means completely. All we can do is post and hope they listen.

I wouldnt say 80 percent broken, but the devs need to seriously start thinking about hiring out other help. They need to tell us how and when they plan on fixing our profession. They also need to write a guide on droids and their uses and post it on the site to get people interested in buying droids. If things dont change soon, a lot of people are going to cancel their accounts.

I think we are seeing the beginnings of real attention to our class. In Q-3PO's latest post

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=GCW&message.id=16492#M16492

he mentions droid engineers first in the list of things they are working on before working on the TEF exploit issues in the GCW.

Better news than nothing I guess.

Also Holo mentioned recently that they have Gorantoth's list and are going through it. Also good news.

I really think that we can stop complaining for a bit.

They clearly announced that they are working on DE improvements...now we just have to be a little patient...at this time its better to give them constructive suggestions so they can fix the profession right.

...little patience , mm yeah , mm yeah ,
need a little patience , yeah ,
just a little patience , yeah ,
some more pati ..
I'll been walkin' the streets to night
just trying to get it right <------can the devs get it right?
it's hard to see when so many around<------mostly BH and CHs
You know I don't like being stuck in a crowd
And the streets don't change , but baby the names
I ain't got time for this game

Sorry, I could not resist after WaervenwWood said we needed to be a little patient.

On a serious note...

The Devs know, our time will come. I just hope sooner than later.

Several of us (and MANY non DEs) banded together a week or so ago (last friday?) and posted a similar idea on the SWG Discussion board. We asked that people keep it /bumped until we got a response from a dev.

We reached 20 pages (500 posts) when Xahn locked the thread. All follow-up threads were also locked.

But the point is, we more-or-less forced a response from the SoE end of the table. It felt good. Frustrating, but good.

I wouldn't recommend trying something like that again until such point as we really REALLY need it. But it IS possible to make ourselves heard.
