Thread: quick question about droids
I bought a probe droid the other day with a food and chem crafting station and a med module in it.
last night when i called it i got this message, "Some of your droid's customizations have faded." what does that mean? does that mean I just need to recharge it with a battery? or what?
And, what qualifies as Low-Grade Ore so I can make the batteries myself?
Thanks, Vrad'in

Hey Vradin,
I don't remember if you bought the droid from me, but I know we have talked about droids before and you bought one from me. The customization thing doesn't do anything. Maybe in the future it will make the droid's color fade or something, but right now since we can't color the droids it doesn't do anything.
Peace!
Yeah, I bought it from you. Nice droid btw, very helpful.
Also, how do I tell when I need to recharge my droids battery? I can't find a charge or anything on it anywhere that gives me a power reading. Does a meter like that exist?
Vrad'in
Rule of thumb about droids, If you are trying to find a feature that is useful such as a power meter, then it probably doesn't exist.
Out of town, use a droid battery (which just about every artisan can make)
intrusive, extrusive, siliclastic.
Don't forget about carbonate....

ig-somethin' or another...
but the best way is to look in your mineral survey tool - it should all be listed under it's clasification under minerals just like the others (ferrous/non-ferrous/gem whatever)
And to actually answer the question, rather than just snipe, the way to tell a droid needs a recharge is when it says "LOW POWER" and refuses to do much of anything.
