For the most part that thread says there will be 3 vehicles and quite possibly only NPC's will have them available, also DE's might not get them, because "Just G" mentioned some things about a whole new proffesion for vehicles later on.

Disappointed greatly that not even Master Artisan will have vehicles.

WHERE does it say that Master Artisans won't be able to craft vehicles? I mean, aside from rampant speculation by the ill-informed? JustG certainly didn't say it.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

I don't have a link, but it was said in another thread that vehicles would fall under artisan, with possibly 1 or 2 under MA and another under Eng IV.

I think the whole thing about NPC's giving them out would be on Test Center, just as they did with mounts. A temporary thing to test load.

A while back Holo posted that the initial vehicles would go into Engineering (thats pretty much his actual words - from this people _expected_ the Engineering tree of Artisan)

However check out the 'in development' web page, just says that players will be able to purchase vehicles (no mention of making them)

I havent read any other dev posts on the subject (although there have been several claims of devs posts without links to back them up)

I love it......only MCHs can make mounts but any MA can make a vehicle by whats been said....

you can grind out MA in about 2 hours with backing...

Why not wait until you can actually SEE what they are doing, rather than just wildly speculating and jumping to conclusions?

Personally, I would prefer that vehicles NOT be made by Droid Engineers. We are DE's, not swoop builders. Before they add even more possibly broken items to us, I'd rather see our current issues fixed.

Oh wait, I'm dreaming again, aren't I?

I will follow that up by saying that if indeed they choose to give DE's the ability to make vehicles, I will make and sell them. Maybe then my sales (and margins)from DE will start to catch up to my Bio-E sales.

It be sweet if they were craftable only by MDE's than we could get away with blatantly overcharging for our products.

first of all that was supposed to say "it WOULD be sweet if...."

But I tend to agree with you JustDave, Droids and Speeders are entirely different. It would be cool though, if a MDE had to make a component for the Speeders, that way we could blatantly overcharge for that!

Yea, even a Droid Brain would be an expected requirement for some vehicles as discussed in other threads.

To be honest, I kind of feel the same way. The game needs a serious cash sink before everyone is a multi-millionare or even billionare.

I guess I will wait to pass judgement until I see what our miracle patch in Janurary brings.
