I have come upon the resources to allow me to make R3 COmbat Droids with 600 Combat Rating, 100% HAM, and level 6 Armor. I already have one of these Flawless R3's on display in my shop on Corellia on teh Sunrunner Server.
My question is what would be a reasonable price for such a rare commodity, since it does use 1000 OQ chemical on the final combine.

Whatever the market will bear.
It'd be real hard for most of us to say in this forum unless we played on Sunrunner. I make a similar droid on Intrepid that I sell at 65K from my vendor. Other DE's on the server sell the same one for 55K. If you get the customers in your shop and start explaining the wonders of the droid, and throw in some clues as to how many factory runs you had to do, and how many combines there were, and about the chores of experimentation, you can get that customer to walk out of your shop 150K lighter.

Having 1000 OQ won't get you 100% HAM. You need 1000 OQ(33%), and 1000 SR(33%), and 1000 UT(33%). Those 3 stats are equal in getting there.

Just to give you some perspective before you embarrass yourself
Btw I sell them for the same price as all my other combat R3s: 64k with armor.

Actually, 1000 OQ will get you 100% HAM. I use 996 OQ with less than 500 in SR and UT and I get 99% HAM. For HAM, OQ is the only attribute that matters.

Intresting...Been doing DE for 8mos and never realized that. But I didn't know what STD's were until one day I said to my wife, "Why is this article in the paper saying that sex disease's were standard(which I thought STD stood for)" She laughed for awhile and said "You really are over the hill!"

90k on Bria, usually put a self healing chip in though, so my combat is about 584. But if the devs didn't nerf at 600 I could be making them about 650ish i believe

are they capped at 600? I've been getting 103's on my combat modules. hmm, good thing I've never tried to sell one with a claim its over 600

Hi
I was lucky to makea load of 110 Combat rating schematic on patch day, but only probot (afaik) use the extra 10. I can get combat rating 550 on my probot and 600 on r3 (but since i can make 103 CR ever so often - i dont waste those 110 on R3s)

There is a similar debate on this type of problem for Docs concerning Bivoli.
Bivoli's can adda +25 bonus to a Doc's buffs so any Bilvoli (perfect) over +25 people sell for upwards of 250K for a crate.
Meanwhile I am perfectly happy gettingless than perfect Bilovi at +24 for 100K.
Why spend 150K more and get about 30 points more in your buffs?
Inthis case....why spend an exuberant amount of credits on a R3 that has 40-50 more HAM anda couple more Attack points than my less than perfect R3sdo?

For the same reason people spend it on Bivoli, they want the best. If they can buy a perfect R3 for 80k, or a weaker version for 50k. Many people will pay the 80k.
Two reasons mostly, one is a lot of people have more credits then they will ever spend. The other is that in RL many people are forced to expect they wont have that Mercedes, Porche, Ferrari, or that 20 million dollar house. In RL, you often settle for lesser objects because that is what you can afford. However in the game, you don't need to "settle," it gives people a matter of pride to know that their R3 is the best out there, nobody has better. Why settle when you don't have to?
