Ok, I've seen several houses on Corellia where the owner has placed a droid in the house and it just stands there like a piece of furnature. I've done a search here trying to find out how to do this since there doesn't appear to be a "Drop" option in the radial menu for the droids in my data pad. The only reference that I was able to find talked about dropping the droids from your inventory.

Now I know that in beta droids were stored in your inventory until they were re-coded to be pets/deeds in order to work around some fatal bugs. It's my understanding that they were moved to the data pad before release, so how are people putting droids in their houses?

I would like to open a modest droid store and repair shop at some point and be able tohave a few examples of my wares on display. Were droids actually moved to the data pad AFTER release and the countless numbers of them that I see now actuallyplaced before this happened?

If there is still a way to drop droids as furnature in your house, how is it done?

You mean Advanced Droid Chassis... not Advanced Droid Frame Units.

I've sold more of those than actual droids it seems sometimes...

Not Advanced Droid Frames. That is just a component in the creation of the Chassis, which is the item name you are looking for.
