It would be a really, really easy fix (it seems to me) to be able to put batteries in a droid item storage compartment and have the droid automatically draw energy from there until it runs out. If you put 2 5-charge batteries into a 10-item compartment, you'd still be able to store a few things and would only see the *low power* once every few hours of online play instead of every 5 commands.
