It let me have effective pets without going blind from grinding them, I don't have to worry about resources and all that junk, and taming something worthwhile takes an hour tops. Compare that to the hours and hours I spent grinding and releasing MSE droids (pre-practice mode) and it was not hard to quit DE and go CH.Exploding MSE droids? Ha! What a joke.
More roles for protocol droids? Yeah, because LOTS of pepole worry that protocols don't do enough :/
Better combat droids ONLY for DE's? How does that increase the droid market? If only DE's can use 'em, who the hell is gonna buy 'em? The stupidity is staggering. Also, with the new nerf to how many pets you can have active, wait till people start screaming for this to be nerfed. "NO FAIR! DE's can have a combat droid out and an R2, but I can only have ONE pet at a time! WAAAH, NERF THEM!"
Interesting take on power droids, but why the hell don't they just introduce a power MODULE? Have it take up a general slot but negate the need for batteries. Sure, now you have one less module you can put in that R2, but it doesn't need batteries!! "R2, how you coming on that security door? Oh sh1t, he ran out of batteries! The Rebellion is DOOOOMED!"
Only the medic changes sound interesting and decent and helpful.

If your not going to post anything consturctive don't post. I am happy with the DE profession, even with all the bugs and problems. I would rather be a DE then a CH any day. This is my opinion, not everyone shares it, thats fine, but you don't see me going on the CH forums and posting about how I view creature handlers as worthless (if you really want I'll give you about a 5 page document explaining and proving that).

With all due respect, his criticism is constructive. It tells the Devs they need to do something about this proffession. Personally, I also consider our proffession to be worthless. In truth, we have exactly2 products. Med 6 modules and Food/Chem crafting stations. Chasis doesn't matter, it's just for looks, and people buy the other stuff out of curosity and then don't really ever mess with it again.
First of all, I wouldn't consider that constructive criticism, constructive would have been to point out the problems (ok so far) then off solutions or other possibilities. There is a little bit there in his post but the majority of it sounds pretty much like ha ha, you guys suck, have fun. As for only having 2 products, combined those make for less than half my sales. I sell mostly probots, R-unit storage droids, and chassis.
