This module was suggested by the devs, and seems likely for Publish 8. TH's description read:"This combat ability would consume a droid in a fixed damage blast." I rather liked the idea and could see several uses for it, but havn't seen much discussion on the DE forum of what it should be like.
It seemed, from the earliest dev mention, that this was intended for MSE droids. That makes sense since the droid self-destructs on use, and MSEs are cheap to make. I think that means that the module itself should become available at Novice DE.
The power of the module's attackwill determine the usefullness of the droid with it in various situations. I expect the power will depend on the resources used and the experimentation points. I think the range should be like powerups (useless to very good), and visible on the deed, but not from the examine window.
One use I see would be for a group of overt entertainers to each have one out for defense while playing. The attack wouldbest be an area attack, which fits with a bomb. Togethera few of the bestshould be a one-shot kill (thats alleach droid gets) against even the most heavily armoured and buffed opponents. A minimumattack of about 1000 seems needed for this. Note that, since the power cannot be examined by others, any MSE droid would be a significant intimidation factor, so there might prove to be a significant market for Novice made ones on the bazaar.
I could see good one being of value in quests or for self defense when encountering mobs or PvP players too tough for the owner under normal circumstances. To be any good for the purpose, it would have to be stronger than the total contribution of a protocol droid through its life in a battle, plus something significant for the lack of tanking ability. I suspect that a total attack value on the order of 2000 is needed to achieve this.
Another factor is how reliable the attack is, especially in PvP combat. Against mobs, the droid would not draw agro until it went off, if it were told to "attack with bomb", so it would be very reliable. Against a player who could easily target and destroy it, a single one would be essentially useless unless it was already within range. I am not sure how to improve this.

lol... how would you target it? Tell it to follow the enemy? Or would it have a new command added? Have you ever ordered an MSE to attack? I ordered mine to attack a kreetle once.... it turned and ran away. It was about the funniest thing I ever saw in this game. That thing moved faster than I could at a burst run! Ran for a good thousand meters before it stopped, too.
I think I'd have crates of the things on hand for my adventuring... tame a few, pull one, send it off... pull another... so on. I'd like this better than a droid that could shoot!
