I will say on TC it seems like I almost never have to load in a battery. I've had my DZ70 crafting droid out for a good deal of time and I think he's only given me low power once.
I do like the idea though

Yeah, I thought of this too a while back. I much rather would have a DE buildable battery that has a longer charge than simply increasing the the time for the 'low power' to appear. I'm sure the battery just resets the droids 'charge' to maximum when used.
It seems like a relatively simple thing to have artisan batteries take the droid only to 50% of maximum charge time, and the DE Power Cells go to 100%.

It would be neat to be able to create an enhanced type of battery which would allow the droid to go an extended length of time without needing a new battery. This droid battery would be able to be created only by Droid Engineers, and would use of course...radioactive material.
This would be a good option for those doctors who sit for extended lengths of time to buff people. They would not need as many standard Droid Batteries on them, nor would they need to worry about it running low on power as often.

Yes, I would really like to see a more robust type of battery available. Make it expensive if it must, but having to load a battery even three times during a typical 3-hour play-session is more nusaince than anything else. Many people would pay the additional cost for the convenience.
