Thread: Invisible Droid Bug!!!!!!!

Had My Alt. toon ( Peyote ) make an entertainer droid for me to use, had 4 effects mods, and 2 entertainer mods, all stack and work correctly!, However Last night and today as well, ( possible 8.1 patch bug ) I would call my droid fine outside the cantina, charge him up, then go in, and as soon as he enters the cantina behind me, he disappears!!! Still shows up in my group but I cannot interact with him. I even had tried to toggle the effects outside first then go in and still poof and no effects to be seen!! Has anyone else had any problems of this nature? I have another droid with 6 effects mods i'll try to repaet the bug with. but please post if anything like this....Thanks

I experienced yesterday a maybe similar experience.
I had a droid out, was out of my house, get in the house (a large generic house), the droid was following me,
...under the ground of the house...

Sounds like the Devs took my advice and stealth-added the "Mining & Excavation Droid Module".

The only thing I have seen that was prior to pub 8 that IS repeatable. If you call up a droid and then call a pet too fast that the droid will vanish but it will still be there as you can hear it and the only command from the dpad is to store it.

I have a similar situation with my medium generic house. Many times if I enter my house and run to the back room, my droid will end up under the house trying to follow me. Happens with any type of droid and seems to be more prevalent when the batt level drops below 60%. I have also been crafting and watched my droid fall through the floor!. Have to run outside to get the droid back and then walk the path very slowly one room at a time to get him to stay on the floor.

Well I know its not just buildings
My combat R3 has lately decided that digging himself into the ground is a wise course of action in a fight.
Most times there is only his dome showing up. Seems the little devil has been reading up on defensive tank strategies.
I know any bug is not funny, but just for once this one makes me smile.
Hope they fix it soon (and I hope y'all are /bugging it)

Hey again, this is repeatable!!!
Gave an R3 to a friend last night, that I had used before with no trouble, and they got it out, but as soon as they tried to enter the cantina poof, its invisible again!.........Don't recall ever having an invisible droid till patch 8.1.......TK if they did stealth add a tunneling module, would it be stackable??
