Thread: New Master DE...
Congratulations
Heres a few pointer for you. Dont waste good resources on the sub parts of a droid (i.e. frame ,motive system, manipulator arms, etc). Save your good resources for the modules that actually have a function like Medical modules, Harvester modules and the like.
On most droids you will use Chems for the actualy deed. This is where the OQ of your chem is critical. Since you can use any chem in the deed, keep on the lookout for OQ 975 or higher chems, and get as much as you can.
Here's the hardest thing to remember. To put multiple modules in a droid, you will most likely have to 1st put them in to a socket cluster. And there are 2 types of socket clusters, Combat and General. Now, while you can put combat and general modules in to a Combat socket, you can only put general modules in to a general socket. And of course some droids can accept only combat clusters, while others can only accept general. Get familiar with how these sockets work.
As for resources, we seem to use ALOT of copper and aluminum and of course Chems. I am a master DE/Weaponsmith. Since you were already a WS you will find that the resources that make good weapons and weapons components also make good droid modules. So look for the same stats as you did for weapons for the most part.
Assuming you have not already done so, and have the skill points to do so, getting to Master Artisan is a HUGE bonus to Master DEs. We go though so many EGPs,EMMs, Control Units, and ESSs, all master Artisan items, that being able to make them yourself makes life much easier.
Well good luck ![]()
Woot...Congrats
Follow his advice. Every word he says is true ![]()
And I hope you don't have to wait to long for your Ore. On some servers it takes months before it shows its ugly head ![]()
