Hum, 3PO chassis doesn't accept combat capable module.
Also, for other models, when they say combat capable module or socket, that mean you can put any kind of module in it.

The protocol can't take any combat modules. So I think you may be confusing it with the LE repair, which has combat-capableslots. That is it can takeboth combat and utility modules. The adv LEmodel can only take a combat-capable cluster, not the general one. The combat-capable cluster can have both combat and non-combat modules in them at once.

LOL yeah I think he does mean LE repair. That is a droid with 6000 Max HAM. The Protocol only has a max HAM of 50, I would love to see one of those in battle

it is true that 3-PO's do not take combat modules, but I have experienced occassional bugs where the crafting tool incorrectly reports them as requiring combat modules during the first crafting step.
It happens inconsistently and is quite rare (I haven't seen it in a long time), but I can say that in my case, the 3PO droids sometimes show up as having a combat capable slot during crafting.
but they shouldn't. if you are seeing this it is a bug, and in my experience will likely report correctly the next time you try to craft the droid.
