Greetings DE's,
I recently acquired an advanced Probot with good combat and repair ratings from a DE near Bestine (on Chimaera).
You would not beleive how many people have wanted to buy it having watched it in action, luckily I made a waypoint so I could find the vendor again and I end up emailing it to 5 or more enquiring players each night.
It is paying for itself in loot just by taking out spice fiends as they run in byBestine starport while I craft nearby. On average 2k per hour in loot and the occasional saleable item, with minimal damage. It even enables me to kill bigger things solo for mega XP as the droid gets all the aggro while I shoot away.
If you are struggling to shift droids, maybe you should sacrifice one or two and demo them in busy areas.

I've found that these probot droids work extremely well for all manner of combat professions. The only problem is getting those people out there to understand that droids no longer suck in combat anymore.
I sell 477 combat rating advanced probots for those melee professions out there who want that extra back up when solo'ing.
I also sell the same chassis with 5 repair modules in them for those ranged professions out there who want something to hold agro on mobs while they shoot them from afar.
Having these two types of droids available adds a TON of variety to any droid engineer's vendor. Highly recommendable!

I did a similar thing with some of the detonation droids, got a couple crates made up and gave them to a couple friends who were in a PVP'ing mood, they went to theed and started sending them after random overts. After a couple minutes I started getting tells from their targets (I made sure to point them to some of my customers for their tests) asking about these droids, think I sold about 10-15 crates so far from this one little demo.
