Droid Engineer Archive

The devs have confirmed that astromechs will be an important part of the Space Expansion, but there's really no detail. Are they going to need specific modules? Are there going to be 'ratings' for ship-related modules? Or will any R-unit do? I'd hate to see the astromech involvement in the expansion become another Droid Commander blowup.

PS: Any progress on getting the schematics organized? It's driving me crazy!

I don't have any details that you all don't have access to... (other than the fact that I get my own special Corr. ship. Note: that's a joke, all.)

Don't know...I'd have to guess this will be the case.

Again, I don't know this yet...but I'm guess they will have some kind of quality/rating associated with them.

Only MSE droids can be used in Shipwrighting.

(note: that's a joke. I have no idea whatdroids will/won't work for shipwrighting or use.)

Not yet, no. Maybe if we make this a higher priority, we can see it in the Corr. issues mini-publish. I'll know more on that as we approach that time...

I not expecting anything to change for DE in JtL. I would be very suprised if there will be another module introduced for accessing the ship. I had hoped we would see more chassis with JtL, but that seems unlikely too. Basically, DE's time in the sun is done, and all we can expect for the next 6 to 9 months is bug fixes and balances. But I hope they prove me wrong.
