I am one of those DE's who makes pretty much all droids "by hand". I made 6 "Tank" Probots this morning, each with 5 auto-repair modules. Here are how my final experiments turned out. (just the first ones):
#1: Moderate Success
#2: Moderate Success
#3: Moderate Success
#4: Good Success
#5: Success
#6: Moderate Success
Some days...I tell you, it's not worth leaving the cantina.

Factories are the solution to that problem. I make factory crates of all the components, especially the ones where experimentation matters.

Since he's experimenting he'd be more interested in drinking some BE enhanced Experimentation Wine.

Yep hate when that happens. What really pisses me off is that it almost always seems to happen on the final deed, when you are trying to max outthe HAM.

Is there anything besides bespin port to help DE? That stuff only lasts for one experiment try and is very expensive. I have a 100% dozer tool, a 41% crafting station, use really nice resources.... and I've still had failures <not near as many> using bespin port. Is it worth it?

I've been meaning to try some Bespin Port. All the above experiments were on final tank droids, where I was trying to max out the HAM. Wasn't too clear on that. I'm using +15.00 repair tools, a 45.5 rated station, and doing all this in a research center player city. It's just a run of bad luck, I suppose, but you can still see the dent in my workbench from my head smacking off of it.

that does happen. when it does, I give it a name indicating it is a combat droid with lower ham and then put it up on the vendor later at a reduced price.
