Just bought my first droid after playing for close to year now. Bought time right. Well I need to know how to name the little bugger. Thanks for your help.

I believe you need to program it at least five times... Just like a pet... Pull up the radial to get the program option.
Then program whatever command you want ...
Tinkerbelle hide
Tinkerbelle chase
Tinkerbelle protect
Tinkerbelle attack
Tinkerbelle wedgie

UNLESS of course the droid you bought is one of the "converse" style droids like the protocol or the LE Repair. These cannot be named at this time.

Don't forget about the Surgical, they cannot be named either

i tried what kellisanth said and it made it so the name was part of the command and not the droids name

Actually you only need to program 4 DIFFERENT (dont try to program 'follow me' 4 times in a row) commands with a command of [name]<space>[anything]. The name itself can have no spaces, and you can use the same text string over and over. When I program a name, I use one command, e.g."Tinkerbelle a" then I select the next command I want to teach, hit ctrl+up arrow to repeat "Tinkerbelle a", and once you have done that for 4 different functions, the droid will be named Tinkerbelle. You will also have 4 commands set to "Tinkerbelle a"which you need to program back to something more useful.
Notes:
-The game will not allow certain words
-Certain droids cannot be named (LE repair, Protocol, and Surgical)
If the name does not work, try changing to something else.
I actually have a macro I use to name droids (previously pets) for people. It messes them up since the macro uses /tellpet and is silent, so all of a sudden the name changes with no audible input from me.
