1 customer ordered:

Adv. R2: 110% med, weapon craft, repair, storage

Adv Surg: 110% med, food craft, storage, data

2 Adv Protocol Droid Chassis for house decorations.

He ordered, was patient, paid full price, thanked me. Makes building Droids a fun job.

Excellent, I wish I had a few customers like that - even just once ina while.

Most people ask for things we can't make ordon't work and then complain about the price. I'm not greedy, I don't charge any more than other DE on my server.

I think the problem is that most peope don't understand how droids work. I try to educate as many people as are interested. But when they see a surgical or repair droid or R2 unit, they think of the movies and want the same functionality.

I explain, they're disappointed, sometimes they buy anyway.

I'm still having fun though.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

I'll get the occasional complainer. But I just ignore them. I filled out another big customer last night too:

Adv. R2, 110% med, food/craft, lvl6 data, lvl 6 storage

2 Surgical Droid Chassis

1 Repair Droid Chassis

2 Probot Chassis

4 Seekers

That was for 1 dude and his CH/BE shop.

The total for the chassises and seekers was 70k and he even gave me 80. what a cool guy. I forgot what I charged him for the r2, it was a couple hours before he ordered the rest.

Hehe, those moments are fairly few and far between. My largest order was for 4 of every droid chassis available colored randomly plus 5 named R2 chassis. Even though they were for PA hall decor I was pretty excited. Luckily I had enough crated parts to finish all but one BLL that same night. We have to take what we can get I suppose.

Just keep plugging away.
