Thread: battle droid ?
I am now working on novice driod enginner. the process is kinda boring. I like to know are we able to make those battle driod like we seen in the movie? where can I get a list of driod that we can make and with picture if possible?

I hate to be the one to crush your hopes and dreams, but...
No, the Probot isn't very good. The absolute Best Probot that can be made is an 810 HAM Probot that does 50 damage every 1.5-2 seconds and has Medium Armor.
In comparison, a CL 15 Creature Handler pet that anyone can use can have anywhere from 2100-3000 HAM, do 150-200 damage every 1.5 seconds, and has no armor (or Light, I'm not sure).
Basically, a Probot soaks up a bit of damage....the armor kind of makes the HAM difference the same as that of the CH pet. However, the CH pet does more damage, and can also be healed mid-battle with normal healing stims.
So therefore, no, the Probot is not the greatest battle pet. Droid Engineering right now is mostly about making Medical Droids and mobile Crafting Stations.
should have asked this earlier . i was working on it for 3 weeks already and I noticed there wasn't any battle driod running around other than pets.
