Maybe I'm just the last guy to figure this out, but it would seem that clusters stuck into normal slots aren't working too well... Just made two probots for my person which had weapon craft, medical, and item modules clustered and a data module thrown in one and repair in the other. I'm not a medic so I couldn't test that one out, but in both cases the clustered item storage module didn't register... i.e. i couldn't access item storage.

I've never been big on the idea of having clusters used like this and hope it is truly a fix. But I'm glad I found this out on a droid I made for myself. Anyone else found this to be true... are clusters busted when used outside of cluster sockets?

I don't put socket modules in regular spaces but last nightI built a mouse droid with a data module becuase a friend insited on testing it out even though I told him they didn't store animals anymore. But anyway, he couldn't even access the data module or store schematics or evenprogram the droid untill he stored it and recalled it.
