Thread: Impact of your character stats on crafting?
I post this in the DE forum since I am a fellow DE and we seemed to be most in tuned with what really does and does not work (regardless of what the manual or the DEVs say).
So the question is a simple one: Does your HAM (specifically Mind, and to a lesser degree Action) have ANY impact on the crafting of your products? With a higher Mind value (and subvalues), do you fail less or generally produce slightly better quality products? Or is does your HAM have zero impact on what you craft (it all comes out the same whether your Mind is 100 or 1000)? Or is the answer somewhere in between?
I am curious about this.I want to believe that there is some non-combat-based advantage to having a larger Mind value versus a smaller one.Perhaps my hope is misplaced. Does anyone know for (reasonably) certain either way? If there is no value in having a high Mind value, then it would make sense to migrate that stat downwards to something that would be more useful. For example, I could migrate some excess Mind points to Health to prevent (or at least delay for a bit longer) being instantly ganked by sudden pop of reds while I am maintaining my harvesters.
So do we, the collective, know anything on this topic?
