Thread: Possible problem with Surgical Droids and Storage Modules.
Hey Gang just wanted to find out if anyone else was having problems with Surgical Droids and Storage mods? I created a Droid for someone yesterday and he wanted a Weapons crafting station and a Storage Module in it. He also wanted healing abilities so I suggested a 2-1B. He agreed and I built the bot and put it on my vendor and started working on making droids for the guild vendors.
About a half hour later I get a tell from the buyer telling me he can't access the storage slot, thinking that there was a problem with the droid had him come back and check it myself. Sure enough no option for storage. Thought it was bugged and since I stand behind my work, made him a new one. Create new a Droid has the same problem.
Has anyone else had a problem with Surgical droids and Storage Mods? If so then we need to add another glitch to the book of problems with DE.
I was referring to a tamed droid. To make sure the issue was with the droid I tamed the second one myself and still could not see the Storage Module. Think it had something to do with what was in it.
I also noticed something yesterday, not sure if it is related. When I was putting items in my factories input hopper, my inventory and the input hopper were not updated. I had to close both and reopen before it showed that I had moved the items into the input hopper and out of my inventory.
If the problems are related I wonder if storing and then bringing the pet back out would fix it? Or maybe relogging?
To be honest, I've had problems gettinga storage module to work in ANY droid. No option to access the module, and drag-an-drop-ing items on the droid doesn't do anything.
This isn't just with droids I've made myself .. I've had others tell me this about their droids (that I didn't make) as well.
My guess is that storage is still bugged to crap.
Use one or the other...I have never had a problem if i dedicated a droid to just item storage or just crafting/medical. As soon as I combined the two, problems would arrise.
I have been able to put storage in the following: MSE, Probot, R series, and protocols.
Couldnt get it to work in surgicals, and never tried in BLLs (obviously), never tried power driods, LE, DZ70, and I think I got it to work in tredwells, but cant remember.
