i bought a droid today(bored and had some money), what the heck am i supposed to do with this big peice of metaljunk? i see the options for it to do stuff like storage but nothing opened up on it. how does thispiece ofscrap metal work?

You need to give us a discription of the droid and what modules it has installed.

hmm i am a typical buy it cause it looks neat shopper. it was 8k the rest were only1k so i figured it was good. i wll get back ot you on the stats, it looks like the imperial probe driod from ESB

i love that kind of shopper. If it wasnt for them how many droids do you think we would sell.

I had someone else ask me the same questions about his probot yesterday. I wish they would add an option for a DE to /checkmodules on a droid or something.

Right now, the only real way to check what your droid has is to:

• Try to place a schematic in it (if it works, it has a data module)


• Try to place an item in it (if it works, it has a storage module) Note: Some storage modules on some droids appear to be broken at the moment .. no storage module I have crafted recently has worked


• Try to heal wounds in the wild away from anyone else while the droid is called (if it works, you have a medical module)


• Try using as many different specific crafting tools as you can (if they show advanced items then you have a crating station)

In general, people put some of the following on "standard model" droids (i.e. ones you don't request specific items for:

• Medical Module


• Item Storage Module


• Data Storage Module


• Chem Crafting Station


• Weapon (general/droid) Crafting Station

The other crafting stations are quite rare to find in generic droids, in my experience.

It sounds to me like a basic model probot.

Examine your droid, and if it has a reasonable armor rating (at least 25% light, but 40% would be better), then you have a light combat tank. He can be programmed to attack your selected target, or to act as a security escort for you.

Oops, forgot to add. There are no optional components in the basic probot beyond the armor, so it does not sound likely that this droid has item or data or crafting modules installed.

Vampiric ... /checkmodule now thats an idea ... you should bring it up to someone like Sintrosi.

I think that would be very easy to implement and very useful
