Thread: Am I loosing money?
I haven't had the need to ask a question on these boards of a while. But now I do. I am a 3/3/0/4 DE, I can make some of the best droids a MDE can make. Since I am not a master, I do not sell Seekers or Probes by the crate (I figure I need the xp of hand making them). I sell them singly on my server for cheaper than the masters.
Am I loosing money by not selling crates? I have a hard time keeping my factory running the GP and EMMs for the Seekers, Probes, and Adv Brains.
I would imagine that only credit strapped BH's would want individual seekers. Its easier and less room to carry crates. Of course thats not taking into consideration the infinite seeker bug
I try to stock both on my vendor. Same thing for batteries.
Yes and no. As long as you put your single handmades on a vendor, they will eventually sell. There are more and more BHs out there due to holocrons and Jedi's. The low level ones like to buy a few not from a crate to check out how they work. Once they figure out how they work, they usually want a few crates.
But, I always make a few by hand to use up any spare resources, and put them on my vendor. They always eventually sell.
I just wish BH droids came in crates of 10 instead of 5. Bleh.
I sell them almost exclusively by the crate, and I can't keep my vendor stocked. In fact, I've raised the price on both twice, though my prices are still low, I believe, compared to others, which might be a factor. I also stock individual units, though usually only one for every 10 crates, and they sell once the crates are all gone and I haven't restocked yet. It's getting to a point I'm going to have to set up at least 1 more factory just to speed up the process of making the droids to keep them in stock.
I try to keep the vendor stocked with crates of seekers and probes too.. some days they are slow movers, sometimes they fly off the shelves.. I have a small handful as singles but the majority are in crates..
