I read your threads and see how much you all wish the devs would listen to your issues. Numbers matter, I came here today with a few other people thati have read and were bashed for posting hot topic (reaccuring)threads. News flash you wont get people to activly join the forums if our threads keep getting bashed.

If you have to answer the same question a 1000 times you should be glad because thats another person you might add to your support list and call on when you need the voice. i am not a Noob and have rallied large groups together in the past, but this kind of behaivor needs to stop, or you will get no support except for maybe the 15 regulars that post here.

I know my behaivor was not top knoch in a prior post and for that i apologize, but please reconsider how you want to treat the "Trolls" as we have been named if you ever want your voices to stand out.

Peace

The largest problem with the whole issue are hologrinders. 95% of those that come seeking answersdon't take the time to look around for the answers that they need. Instead they just waltz into the forum, drop a few lines on the forums and expect all of their questions to be answered.9 times out of10, the questions that are being asked can clearly be answered by a post either stickied to the top of the forum or on the first page.

According to your theory that its all about the number of people posting on a forum,Jedi, Bounty Hunter and Creature Handlers should berunning in tip top condition, due to the large volume of people posting.Yes, CH has had a lot of revamping of their profession, but you will also notice theetreme amount of displease that this caused and it wasn't a result of the CH profession asking for it.

At least once a day I read on the forums about someone that has no clue as to how to use the search function or even that there is a search function. The best way to help someone findthe information that they are looking for isby educating them on how to find the information for themselves. Hence -

The general consensus is that those people asking the same questions: "How do I get the best XP?" "What do I need to grind?" "How do I set up a macro" are just holocroners and as such won't be adding anything to the profession anyway. They'll grind it up then dump it as fast as you can say "A mysterious voice tells you to master something else"

But that's not true of everyone. While I don't make as much of a board presence as some of the others that lurk about here, I am extraordinarily active in-game helping both the newbies, the DE regulars, and the holocroners alike. I actually spent an hour helping one out as he wanted to craft a souvineir of his DE time by building himself an R2 droid. I sat with him and as he read off the parts he needed I handed him the pieces so that he could build it himself. It was a very nice experience for him as he actually got to build with his own hands the fruits of a lot of grinding labour. It was also nice for me as I am a helper by nature.

And on that matter I make sure to inform every droid engineer I meet on the server to msg me any time with questions about the droid engineer profession. Whether they be holocroners or normals, I will always answer their questions and provide training. I've even started running a free loan system where non-master DEs who are a bit short on cash can borrow sets of medium mineral harvesters, no charge.

And this doesn't even mention the DEnet work we have going; and of which I owe a lot of credit to those on it who regularly send me waypoints. But we are usualyl always in the know about minerals, news, and helpful information packets that go out on it.

As such, I like to think that Ahazi is one of the best servers in the game to start up as a droid engineer. The holocroners get their answers fulfilled, the non-masters get assistance as they need it, and the masters get constant mineral waypoints, current events, and all the holocroners off their backs (as they all come to me).

Or, to be more accurate to the profession:

Build a man a fire and he is warm for the night. Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Why does this sound dubious? I should be on TC most of the night. Make a swing on by to TC and give either Calous, Drashka, or Drakalous a tell.

But I don't have any goons on TC! How will I get you 'taken care of'?!?!?!

Errr... I mean sure. I should be on in a few hours time. I'll send a shout and we'll have a quickchinwag about things.

Don't worry about the people who might bash you for asking a question.

It cracks me up how people will spend the time responding to a post they don't think deserves responding to.

It's just as easy just to point to the top of the thread if the answers are there.

On the other hand, I hope your post wasn't one of those "Let's reach a consensus on this topic we've already discussed for 3 or 4 months and everyone is sick of by now".

Well, start your engines. Cause when the Droid Invasion thread is posted we'll be starting it all over again.

But you're right. We won't be winning over many new converts if the first experience they have in the 'official' forum is everyone screaming at them.....

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

The problem with your post was that you created a new topic for one that there were at LEAST 5 topics for the month of december, including a current topic with over 10 posts. You are LAZY.
