I am a recently mastered doctor on sunrunner who is now looking for my medical droid. I am thinking of getting an R2 unit that has a level 5 medical module, ability to heal outside of medical facility, food and chemical crafting station, and if its possible - an item storage capability. If anyone can help me find the pricing range for such customized work please post here. And if there are any wiser courses of action, such as buying a different model of droid to lower the price or whatever could help someone like me who has a limited budget until i get on my feet with my doc business i would appreciate it. thanks.

Buy one with level 6...your buffs will be higher. Level 6 gives a 10% bonus. It's worth the extra credits.

Actually, the level 6 module doesn't give an additional bonus over the other medical modules, it simply has a hire innate medical rating. Two experimented level 4 medical modules will net you a 110 medical rating, the maximum allowed. I believe one level 6 would do the same, however they're expensive as they require rare (named) resources.

If it has room, two level 4's may be cheaper, and give you the same (110) medical rating. Prices vary greatly from server to server.

ahhh, thanks for the info so far. I only briefly looked over the highest possible medical module levels. So forgive me about the lvl 5 in my previous post. Level 6 is what i meant. But if anyone can offer and pricing info with a lvl 4 that is just as good as 6 then please share. Thanks to those who have already helped.

I sell advanced R2s withfive modules (non-combat) for 35k. I throw in 5 free batteries and a paint job, too.

I ran another 10-droid run of my MedMax6 R2 units today, they have level 6 item/data/inventory, food/chem module, and droid repair module. My sales are in spurts, and I sell them mainly by going to med centers and asking the medics there. Works pretty well for me.

A customer just now had me make one for him with a weapon crafting module instead of the droid repair module, and that cash made me a millionaire for the first time.

I would strongly urge you to post this on the Sunrunner board, or look up a DE in game, if you haven't already. Prices vary significantly from server to server, and unless you just happen to catch a Sunrunner DE here, quotes aren't going to do you much good.

As a Sunrunner DE, I would charge about 36000cr for an Advanced R2 in the requested configuration. This is only an estimate, since I do not have all of the requirements handy and, being an old fart, my memory may not be what it was (20 years ago)

Total loss of annual revenue (SOE): ~$715US to ~$900US
- Bad press: Priceless
Should Sony and Lucas Arts be worried? (15000 users * 5 accts = ~$13MIL in potential lost gross annual revenue) If I were the CEO for either LA or SOE, I would certainly be worried.

The level 5 that he's looking for requires the same rare resource, so it makes more sense for him to get a level 6 Medical module.

You are incorrect that a level 6 module doesn't give a bonus over other modules, however. At the very least, it's the only way you can get a 110% rating with a single module, and for some people every module counts. I have a lot of customers who are frustrated that the R3 can only hold 6 modules - they want all the main crafting modules in their droid, and that requires 7 modules. (4 crafting stations, item storage, data storage, and medical.)
