Huge, huge issue, and one that has been asked repeatedly yet never answered. In addition to HAM we also need to know whether or not their combat values change to the post-patch 8 standard.

For now (even though it hurts), it may be best to assume that they will not get the higher HAM numbers. If you do, and this turns out to be the case, you'll be prepared for it...if even only a little.

HAM is set when deed is build, so it won't be updated.

My pre-patch 7 droid deeds listed their HAM at the pre-patch 7 values, but when you actually call the deed you get post-patch 7 HAM values.
So my guess would be that the same thing will happen with patch 8, but I'd like confirmation on the combat values side of the issue.

This is a rather difficult question for us for several reasons.
1) We had no fair warning when P8 was going to hit, and therefore did not have time to make pre-P8 deeds.
2) Not all of us are dedicated strictly to TestCenter. We do have our own businesses on Live to run as well. Yes, we're there to get a leg up on what changes same as all you guys that ask us questions. Trust me when I say that I wish I could provide you with the answer.
My focus lately has been off of combat droids and moving to get the utility modules crated (crates of crafting stations, medical modules, item storage modules...etc.) 'cause when P8 hits...I want to have the new utility stuff ready to be loaded into the factory, and stuff to get to vendors.

Since I have about 70 crated probots with 820 HAM after patch 7, I would assume that we are NOT going to see new HAM's retroactive to the new droid specs.
If you have a bunch of 1100 HAM probots, I would be hard selling these things now to clear out inventory. I am having a hard time selling 820 HAM probots with Item & med 6 for 12K apiece just to get rid of them.
I just confirmed Kollos's statement about droids actually having the new HAMs even though the deed displays the old HAM. I hadn't even thought of calling one and checking this out since the deed still displays 827 HAM. When called these pre-pub 7 droids have 1083 HAM, .8 speed and .38 to hit. The very bad thing however is that the old probots do exactly ONE point of damage per attack !!!! UGH!

As publish day grows near, I am getting all my ducks in a row. Resources, pre-built parts, factories, etc...
I have listed the modules here, with some brief snippets that are important to me (and others, I am sure) based on what I have seen thus far on the various threads. Please have a look at each point and either confirm, refute, or ammend as neccessary.
