will there be any new droid chassies????

or are there no new ones and only modifications to the exisitng ones/??

This is not mentioned in the patch 8 anouncements

It's not mentioned because it's not true. There are no new droid chassis's scheduled for publish 8. Only new modules that can be used in existing droids.

Technically speaking there is one "new" droid. The interplanetary survey droid is similar to the BH probe droids, a package of charges. but it looks like a DZ70 when in use. It doesn't require a chassis, and it is not a module installed into a droid.
