Hi.
Was curious as to where these new modules will fit in a droid.
Do they all act like service modules and do they all fit in combat sockets?

I haven't seen anything posted here to indicate that any of the new P8 modules are cosidered "combat", so they should fit in any general module slot.
- Currently "combat" modules will only work in combat slots. But "general" modules will work in general or combat slots.
- Unfortunately the same cannot be said for clusters: If the schematicallows a "combat-capable socket cluster", a "general socket cluster" WILL NOT work in it. It's a double standard, but last I heard TK was fighting to get the devs to allow general socket clusters in combat-capable socket slots.

Yeah. I had a few problems with that when publish 7 hit. Saw combat capable cluster on R3 and figured that so much for the utilites in them. I later found out that they could take both kinds. Had some problems with the service cluster/combat clusters as well.

They work in both, actually.

Combat clusters go only in combat slots (like for R-series droids) but can accept non-combat utility modules. If you want to make a 'uber FX' Entertainer droid, you'd put all 6 FX modules into 2 Combat Clusters and load up the R3. Done.
Note: I tested this exact droid last night and it worked great.

Correct. You can't put a GSM (General Cluster) in a Combat Cluster slot. However, you can use the 'fix' above. I've put the ability to use GSMs in Combat Cluster slots on the list but it's not very high up right now (by the votes/entries I tallied).
Respectfully,
