Ok, advertising mode off. Because I'm a huge geek, I actually designed a set of scripts to allow people to build droids from the chassis up. One thing that will stop me from refering my customers to this though is the price section. I charge more than you do adn dont want my customers asking why

I customized an R2 droid and added armor. In playing around with Level 4 and level 6 armor modules I noticed that the descriptive text that says what resists it has seemed to change strangely. I set them both to level 4, then set the top one to level 6 and the resist went down to 25%.

This was on Linux using Mozilla build which is about a year old, so perhaps the problem is in my browser.

I also noticed the armor being weird. I gave it 2 level 4's on an advanced probot and it gave me 25% medium (should be 40%). Same with 1 level 6 armor module.

Geez, am I seriously undercharging or what? Those prices seem high (to me) and I rarely make sales.

Drop the prices from the Configurator as a professional courtesy! Do as jveedroids.com does (no price list) pls! And a big time thanks for putting this together!

Well to be truthful I havent sold a droid since our probot nerf. But when I did I sold Surgical Droids for 45kc .. protocol droids for 75kc. Heck my Probots with modules sold for 40k.

I imagine being one of only a couple MDEs at the time helped. I have no idea how much the droids are now but I imagine not close to what I sold them for. I just bought a Surgical droid with level 6 med and crafting station on Shadowfire for 8k. I thought it was a **edit** good deal

yea, prices are everywhere and anywhere, depending on server, planet, and who your buying from. I sell most of mine what most would consider cheap (I'm happy with my prices), whereas I've seen others selling theirs for 10 times as much, and we both still sell.

Hmmm I did a test run on your site for a probot adv w/ 2 Lvl 6 armor modules. It came out to be over 4 times what I charge for mine. I'm not saying how you should price your droids, everyone has their own methods. But....is it a bit high or am I a bit low? I have tons of customers, I have in the millions of credits. So I'm not hurting. But then I am fully self-seficiant(sp?). I can understand the price if our droids where as they used to be. But until then, I'm sure its not worth that amount.

Oh, **edit** your prices are high... if I had those prices I would be either very poor or very rich... depending on the customers.

Wow!! Its amazing to see how much pricing differs from server to server, planet to planet. I was sitting there thinking 25k just for 1 L6 storage module! I have never even sold an entire droid for that. Even using L6 storage mods. And its not like Lidium Extrusive has been around very often on Scylla. In fact, I can't remember the last time it was around. I vote that he leaves the prices there so I can point everyone on Scylla to it

Thanks for the input, guys and girls (see, Sintrosi, I remembered). Yes, there is some funkiness in the armor calculation if you go back and change your initial selection it seems to overwrite with the latest values. I'm still working on that part. As far as pricing goes, I've got one faction saying I'm too low and one faction saying I'm outrageously high. Makes me wonder.

I've got my L6 Modules priced much higher than normal because I don't have any of the specialized resources they require at the moment (**edit** resource shifts). I was hoping that would discourage people from ordering them, but it apparently didn't work so well...
