Thread: A Question about Droid Crafting Stations
I'd like to know if there is a way to tell what the Function Rating is for Droid Crafting Stations. Not whatcomponent quality maximumwe can attain (which I believe is now +14 for Master DE's), but what is the Droid Crafting Station Function Rating?
Personal Crafting Stations have specific Ratings. I believe the best being around +40. My customers are always asking me, "What is the Crafting Station Rating?". All I am able to tell them is that a Droid Crafting Station is better than a Personal Crafting Station. I always use high quality/high conductivityresources and always experiment. If I get any results other than "Great Success" or better,I destroy the Droid Crafting Station before completion. This way I know I am getting the best results possible, but I am still unable to give my customers a specific number for them to compare to either Personal or Public Crafting Stations.
Am I missing the Rating information somewhere? Please help! This information will definitely improvedroid sales, and letour customers know that DE's are not babbling idiots who do not know their product or it's specs.
I bid you peace and prosperity,

I know that experimenting the droid station does help, as does using good materials.
However, what I do not know is what the relationship between the droid station module, the overall quality of the droid, and an architect made crafting station.
Would be nice if that stat were listed, as is the medical stat.
the max is 14 with perfect materials and experimentation?
did this change in the patch? I thought it had a max of 5 or 6

It is higher now that we have more experimentation points.
However, I do not beleive that say a +4 droid crafting station = a +4 arch station.
I think it ranges from -15 to 15 as I thought I remember seeing a -15 a crit failed experiment so I am assuming that +15 is the upper limit.
But I don't think anyone knows for sure the answers to the following:
Does experimenting on droid crafting stations affect the "Effectiveness Rating".
Does the "Effectiveness Rating" actually make a difference in a private crafting station.
I know a lot of people have run tests, but due to the random nature of crafting someone would have to look at the code I think to know for sure.
What I tell my customers is that "no one really knows for sure as droid crafting stations don't have the same rating as the ones that go in your house. That being said, I can't tell the difference between my R3 and my +38 at home." That is as honest of an answer I think I can give to them.
It sucks, though, because everyone asks what the rating is and all I can say is, "it's supposed to be better but no-one knows for sure."
