For some reason my Probot will not takethe name that I am assigning him. I am programming him as I should by calling him out of my Datapad then selecting the program radial option. I pick follow me and say - hank come. I do the same thing all the way down the line with the different commands but his name never shows.

Also, when I store him, the commands never show up in the datapad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I scanned the forums but could not find anything.

Are you trying to name him "hank" or is that just an example?

There is a naming filter in place, that doesn't give you any sort of message when the name is rejected. So it may be that the name you are trying to use is blocked by the filter. Numbers and special characters (other than ' or - ) are not permitted.

Another suggestion would be to try to recharge the droid, then try again. I haven't seen reports of droids low on power refusing to be programmed, but it seems logical.

Good luck.

Thanks a ton for the quick help!

It was a banned name and my new one took. (I wish they gave an error message). Now, my only other question is that the commands never show up in the datapad. Shouldn't they show up there? Or, do I have to transfer it to someone else first?

Thanks,

The commands not showing up is a known bug. (Maybe not known to the devs, but to us) I don't know of any workaround, haven't tried transferringany droids, so it may fix it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
