Thread: What Are droids good for anyways?
I know I shouldn't feed the troll, but this is one post that I wish I could one star a few more times....
If you're sincerely asking, then I say....
FAQ. Must read FAQ. I checked it out myself, and you betcha there's a part in there that describes our Modules and what they do. In fact, it even describes that modules are the things which give droids purpose, so....bam. There you go.
true, the med modules and crafting stations are semi-useful. but i haven't sold a droid in weeks...had to go back to running missions to support my harvester habit.
*scratches head*
... Well, droids make great portable medical centers, and you can build a crafting station into them. You can put a storage module in them and use them as a small extra datapad to store waypoints.
That's what they CAN do...
You won't see many folks whipping out a droid for combat purposes... way to expensive, and 'sides, player-owned droids in SWG suck at combat. Did you really think they'd let you use a droideka in the game?
To date I've never met Roger the carbine toting squad-leader droid either.
So I guess to sum it up:
Droids are mobile crafting stations with medical and data storage capabilities.
Did I miss anything?
