Hopefully someone can either post an asnwer or direct me to a thread that answers this small problem.

I'm a DE on gorath and I have used the color kit on my own droids with no problems. Yet when I try to color someone else's droid the color does not stick. When i first tried to do it, the other guy already had his droid out so I clicked on it, but got a message saying I need permission to alter the droid. Since neither myself or the other guy knew how to do this, i had him just transfer his droid to me. I did the customization, then when I transfered the droid back, the color did not stay. I tried it again, this time storing and calling the droid myself to make sure the color was there, which is was, but when I transferred the droid back, the color was gone again when the guy called it out.

Am i doing something wrong? Or is this color kit thing still bugged.

First, in order to color someone elses droid you must get there /consent. Have the person /consent (your character name here).

Second, I'm going to guess that you tried to color the main body with the first white box on the color scheme. The top left whitebox is bugged. Try using a different color white and you shouldn't have a problem.

In addition, if the droid you're attempting to color is an astromech built prior to October 8, color simply won't hold. Those droids are the ones that just come in gray frame/red trim.
