I refuse to make BLLs. I don't wanna waste that much time and stuf on something SO useless. Everybody wants them though. Why? To group with to get higher missions. Non-CH level 10 pets don't do it for anybody, so they've found that the BLLs are much more useful for that. So, let's see, in the future this'll have ONE module. And will be a higher than level 10 droid? You mean, people may have to waste skill points to get certified to use one of these things? There's something very wrong here. I'm just wondering what the designers originally had in mind when they put these things in the game, and why only Master DEs can make them. Obviously, something was nerfed about BLLs before anybody even saw them. Can one nerf something before it even appears in beta?

I'll make them. I just charge an insane price for them.

Well, first of all, I think that they were going to be able to step on people - I think that they were going to have melee combat abilities. This would explain the three armor slots - and I think that at one point, droid armor was not going to be capped at medium - 40%. This would explain the one armor slot in a basic probot, and 2 in the advanced.

Useless? Useless?!? While indeed the BLL may not be able to do anything practical, being a DE is far from a practical thing anyway. As such, I've seen the BLL used in quite a number of non-practical ways. I myself have used it for advertising my business, a centrepoint that my customers can find easily, a traffic patroller who directs people to destinations, a giant Pit Droid that was part of a theme of the Acktoe Raceways, a lasting politicalmessagecommentator inside the hallway of the Coronet Starport (everyone sees and reads it in there for some reason)), and finally a great tool to have chase players around. Especially those players who are offending people with begging for credits or spamming orthe like. Just put a msg above it's head saying "put-ThisPerson-on-AddIgnore" and tell it to chase them. Sure enough it manages to run people out of townfaster than any player could, and being automated i don't have to deal with that playerand neither does the BLL

So, in conclusion, bend your mind a bit and you can find a few useful things to do with the sucker. Course, would be even better if it could hold 50 or 100 items

I think that was it's original intent, but SOE wanted to ship the game and the BLL wasn't complete, so voila, useless droid.

So: Are these bad boys still only useful as statues? Do they have any carrying capacity? I don't want to buy one unless I know for sure.

Yes, they are only statues ta the moment... or maybe billboards.

But in the next publish it will hold ONE module... sigh... yes, only one. That means you can use it as a crafting station or to store 10 items. Thats all.

Disclaimer: Im suppossing what the BLL will be able to hold is a socket module, not a cluster module.

I would like to see them with some combat ability. They seem to use the same skeleton as an ATST...why couldn't they have guns mounted on them?

Does this mean they have fixed the 'infinitely stacking' ability of cluster modules within themselves?

kyroneuss.

well cause they are LOADLIFTERS, which mean civil droid for carry stuff around, well they dont do that in SWG but thats how they supposed to be. so thats why i wont like to see them with guns.

well also not a mouse or R2 with guns but well. we will see what happens with the invasion

different chassis should have different module usage on type anyways, but wait we dont have many modules which work fine or be worth it /sigh
