[ I almost put this in line, then decided not to break the request of the thread former. ]

{sorry to break 'form' here. I just cant respond to this with yes or no. To respond at all I must explain}

We all want more DE content (Yes'ish). but im, '?'ish' on this idea, if im understanding it, of tallying a vote as a demand. Its not telling them anything new. Maby it will tally a number who care. I could be yes on that count.

They know we want more content. A poll of who 'demands' more content., it just doesnt seem to help anything. Yelling louder probly wont help. I think they see the egg on thier face.

I think votes to determine the will of DEs on specific issues can be influential and valuable. I think '~Do we want more content?' is redundant. If not and thats the question Im YES 'Do we "demand" more?' I dont think "demand" realy has any power over them. Just so many Ewok spears off an X-wing. The vibe just doesnt seem right.

I think a clearification vote might be good sometime. They took 'NO DH' to maby mean No (Powerfull) Combat droids. I think our will is to have powerfull combat droids *within* the DE proffession.

I have not given up on an inherant DE droid cert. But polls of 'Do we want Powerfull combat droids [yes], [no]. {im yes on this}

Or If we must have a DH profession To, have Powerfull droids, then do we want a DH. {im a bit hesitant to give in yet, or say this yet. But I admit in yes on this}

Or maby most importantly. As there is possibly confusion now as to what DEs want. a multiple choice poll.

[A] I just want more powerfull combat droids I dont care about anything else.

[B} I want powerfull combat droids, And more 'utility droids' more variety of function etc.

[C] I just want more 'utility droids' more variety of function etc. I dont care about powerfull combat droids.

This would address the ~I'm hearing DEs just want more 'utility droids' and dont care about more powerfull combat drioids.~, thing.

Now Im not trying to post this as a poll. Just as a discussion on polls and why Im confused about '(W)'s poll.

I think the best use of a poll,is to find developer perceptions. Like 'DEs want (or dont want) this', or 'Players want that' etc. When we find a perception we don't like that we think is untrue. Then a Vote, more or less proving the truth. Can be Very Powerfull.

(then if they still, dont agree they would have to switch to, 'this would imbalance this or that' or 'such a thing can not be easily enough coded in a platform such as SWG' 'or whatever') (g)
