Safe to say after reading Runesabre's announcement, that the Droid Invasion is stillborn. The DEV's couldn't get us to swallow the DH profession, so they bowed up and pulled the plug on combat droids completely. We're now suppose to accept "utility" additions as a major patch? Yeah, right. That's more like a minor maintenance patch enhancing what is in essence a secondary line of business. Certainly not a main event by any stretch of the imagination. Let's all give a great big *YAWN* for the up coming Droid Retreat.

I am happy that it was aborted. It would have made things worse. If they need to abort this to get it right than so be it. I waited for vehicles this long I will wait for our turn a while longer(3 months). If Mr rune is willing to say no way and abort the droid invasion then there must be a **edit** good reason for it and I will wager that it is because it would have sucked and anyone in the industry knows that SWG has sucked because it was released tooooo early. But it is improving with the right leadership.

So I am all for getting it right in development then release it on test center and get feed back. I think we should all form a guild on test center and work through these issues so the entire DE community can really get together and make a statement that is effective.

Even tho the Droid Commander profession is not going thru, the question about combat modules going to CL10 droids still answers as Yes. I think this is a better solution. Flesh it out, give it development time, give more utility and include combat modules for the existing droids. I believe this is a good thing.
