actually the checker analogy is ridiculous anyway. there isn't enough room on the board for more checkers. if you asked me if you could play against me with double the checkers, I'd say sure and laughpolitely asyou realized you had no place to put them.

oh yes you could. You would just have to but them up next to each other, kinda like a defensive formation, of course then you would be exploiting. even though there was nothing to stop you from putting the checker down.

if you get free "kings" that's more than getting extra checkers. that's changing the rules of the game entirely, which is not what the analogy is claiming.

And if you butt them up against the pieces that are already there then all the spaces on the board will be filled, nobody will be able to move, and the game will end in a stalemate before it even begins.

And DE's checkers are so much more dangerous than all the other professions' checkers which already proliferate the game. So we are held to a higher standard... I feel special.

I guess the chefs' new checkers that are going in tomorrow aren't as much of a concern. Or maybe edible checkers are good... metallic checkers bad.
