If anyone has ever played master DE and later architect, or vice versa, i'm interested in what you thought of architect. I've commited myself to learning it and have yet to decide whether or not I will drop DE entirely. It has to be better than this right? I mean, functionality, demand, usefulness.....etc

I wasn't actually an architect myself, but my good friend was a master architect. There is more demand, but there's no variety and the profit margin is terrible. You will make more money as an architect, but it requires a lot more overhead as far as resources go, as well as a lot better supply than DE.

Just grinding up architect, I made 1 million credits in the first two days (selling Walls). There is no limit to the money you can make, but it's boring a heck. Like others have stated, the resource requirements are astronomical, but at least they are very generic.

With an Architect, there is far less room for socializing through business than DE (unless you're the urban planner for alarge city). To even come close to meeting the demands, you'll have to be very organised. The architect I go to has 80 Heavy BER13 Mining Installations to keep up with most of his demands... Not for me.

To me, I found both Architect and Armorsmith to be profitable, yet borrrrring. Armorsmith only has two products in demand, while Architect is too much work harvesting.

Having tried all crafting Professions, I found DE to be the most challenging and inetersting (with Chef a close second!).
