I jumped on to TC to check on a few things after not having access for almost a week and I have some good news.It appears that the new Probot artwork has been pulled and the good old standard looking Probot that we know and love is back in action. I didn't check out whether or not the combat animations are working correctly again, but I'll check on it later tonight or tomorrow.
Looks like the DEVs heard our complaints and pulled the art.Its the small fights that win the battle.

It wasn't new artwork, they "broke" it. So, they really didn't listen to us, they just fixed another mistake they made.

Yea....we just alerted them to something that would have made it to live because the regular SOE QA dropped the ball.
I want to know....
Drashk: Is there an ETA on when we'll see the answers to the list of 10 (or so) questions?
That's what I'm waiting for...since it represents the only real information we're likely to get on our plight for the next several weeks (and maybe longer).

I just found the post about the 'funtionality addition' that tweaked the Probot.
I'm in the process of skimming about a weeks worth of posts on the DE forum and am going to try and get the questions that I pulled out and type them up for everyone to see. It will be a few days at best before TH has a chance to respond, due to my lag from this weekend.

You're not saying that the 'functionality addition' was the fixing of the Probot skin are you?
I'd hope that you're talking about the different animations for 'normal' and 'combat' states....correct?
Please don't tell us there's not some yucky little surprise that we all don't know about yet....or is there?

I was refering to the quote from Jake Rodgers Art Director "we were adding some functionality to the probots and we accidentally broke two of the levels of detail"

Respectfully,
There was a post earlier this week where a DEV stated that the Probot skin broke when they were adding functionality to the droid. Yeah, I got a bit worried too.

Yeah that would be the one.
I should just go back to work and let Drashk do his thang... ![]()

What I guess I'm after here is...
What is this "functionality", then, that went along with the busted detail level?
The new combat animations? <or> Something that we've not been told about (and that will be total surprise)?
I don't like surprises from this bunch...they generally tend not to work out too well.

I'm not 100% on this one, but I think it has to deal with the idle tocombat transtion that was added for the Probot in this publish.

Does anyone have a toon with a probot on TC who can test the following:
- Animation while beginning/engaging in combat.
- Animation for getting hit.
- Animation of firing the blaster bolt.
- Animation of getting incapped.
---
Sorry, I would test this myself but my TC char only has 100 credits to her name and no skills or Probot.
