Thread: Anyone know why my freshly nerfed probot is now CL 13?

Ok, they nerfed my probot... my only protection besides my house cat... I mean non ch pet... but now I can't call the probot. Its CL 13. Is this a known issue?

You should still be able to call it (not at the same time as the cat). Droids don't follow the same CL restrictions as creature pets.

is so out of touch with reality.
Fine. Make the best combat droids CL13 if they want. I don't mind that. But that doesn't explain why ALL droids are CL13. Give us a real rating system for the droids! Anything less, is stupid. I'm fine if they want the maximum combat droid to be CL13 but give us a way to make a combat droid that is CL10 for crying out loud. I can guarantee you that my Advanced R3 with 4 crafting stations, an item storage module and a medical modules is NOT going to survive a battle with a CL13 creature.
Why is it CL13 then? It doesn't make any sense. And it angers me greatly that the silently chose not to implement the feature that allows us to take a pet and a droid out at the same time without telling us.
/waves hand at devs: that sort of silence is why communication on these boards is poor and why people get angry at you guys.

We had wanted to do that early on, but since the level 10 combat droids weren't so appealing, the developer bumped it up to level 13. With droidsa little more powerful, having duel pets was dropped in the development phase.
Really, the inability to provide good and accurate documentation of significant feature changes in each Publish is the clearest sign of how mismanaged this development process is.
For god's sake, pay a good professional technical writer to manage your Pubs team, guys ... my boss would absolutely blow a gasket if she saw documentation that was this sloppy in a software release.

Waitaminute...
So, now I WON'T be able to pull out a droid and a pet!?
MANNNNNNNN! I suffered losing the armor bennie from my probot thinking "Well at least I'll be able to have a pet out with some HAM to mix things up at the same time." But no, hunh?
I KNEW that was supposed to happen on this publish but when I tried it and it didn't work I just thought that I had it confused with publish 8.
Man, that SUCKS.
Now, I didn't have ANY trouble pulling my Probot out last night- are we sure ALL droids are CL13- I mean, what does that mean?
Then wouldn't only CH's be able to use them?
So, now I WON'T be able to pull out a droid and a pet!?

HEY! not only can you not pull out a pet and droid... despite how freaking useless a nerfbot and a level 10 house cat are... but you can't even pull out the nerfbot!!!! if you don't have novice ch and at least one skill in CH you can't pull a CL 13 pet! so now, only CH can use probots! Woohoo!

As I mentioned earlier, droids don't follow the same rules as creatures, I haven't had a single customer have a problem with not being able to pull the droid out (even at CL13 without any CH skills)
