Any droid engineers (on Ahazi) out there getting 600 combat ratings in their adv R3 or 500 in their probots? If so, what resources are you using?
Im using the new erosi polysteel copper with 950 CD and 850ish OQ and the best combat module i can make have a 97 combat rating, giving me about 580 or so combat rating in an R3....I heard the quality of the gas doesnt matter but im using like 600 OQ inert gas, but its been months since any good inert gas spawned...
My R3 HAMs are coming out to 1689 with some uber naboo fiberplast (oesmau), but i feel inadequate since i cant max my combat ratings
anyone?

Gas seems to make a tiny difference
hehe. It can increase the combat rating by about 1 (just thought I'd test it before the servers went down). First time I used a gas with OQ in the 200's, second time I used a gas with OQ 880+, and it was 1 point higher. But yeah, it doesn't make much of a difference

I'm not on ahazi, but I was making R3 droids with combat ratings of over 545 + HAM 1694, Speed 1.5, Dmg 130-140...Probots with 600 combat rating, HAM 1090, Speed 0.75, Dmg 152-162. I had been a DE for a while and was hoarding awesome copper (Cond 1000 OQ 990), Fiberplast, and Gas with OQ of either 843 or 845. All my combat modules were 99% experimented as were my Droid Brains.

Your thinking about the normal module rating, not the overall droid rating. A single combat module can have a max rating of 100. your getting a near-perfect module, which, once you put it in a droid with 5 others just like it, will have a rating of 580(ish).

I was getting 100% on all the droids and combat comp. the day the patch came out. I think the new Exp. system we had for the day is better, but then I also think people are scared of new untried things and didnt give it a chance. Most of the crafters I know didnt craft anything that day because then next day it was getting switched back. With the old system I can get better than 97% with the same exact ores. I think we need to get the New system put back in.

stupid question but how did the person posting above get 600 combat rating on adv probot with only being able to put in 5 combat mods on it???? I'm getting 600 easily on R3s when I want to but how is this possible on a probot or am I missing something? thanks

You can't get 600 on a probot. 550 is the max, if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but on my combat modules I regularly get 107 (I've got a crate of them).
As for R3s, I've made a 600 rating one and my Probots come out to about 535...
The problem is....Who wants one? What use is such a weak pet?

good point & right now I think only selling based on the advertsiement of "Droid Invasion"...novelty will get old soon since these are not really for tanking unless have a handy repair kit to keep using...a CL10 pet is by far much better right now...a nerf is coming on them but who knows when & how much exactly...it's all just another attempt by the devs to try & force ppl to group & not go soloing...Isolates ppl like me that enjoy the friendships I have developed on here but dont usually have my friends always on at the same time as me to go hunting with & opposed to grouping with ppl I don't know due to prior annoyance with this...they are just going to scare more ppl away from the game with the droid & pet nerfs imo
